Our statement of faith is the same as most of the Charismatic/Pentecostal Churches.

In Essential Beliefs - we have unity:

"there is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one  faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all." (Ephesians 4:4-6).

We believe that we are to bear with one another in love and endeavour to keep "the unity of the Spirit in the bond of  peace" (Ephesians 4:3). In other words, cultural, racial, political, denominational, generational, or geographical differences should not in any way limit our love for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ or keep us from the unity in which God wants us to live.

In Non-Essential Beliefs - we have liberty:

"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters...Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls...So then each of us will give an account of himself to God...So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God." (Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22)

In All Our Beliefs - we show love:

"If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:2)

THE ESSENTIALS WE BELIEVE:

About God:

We believe God is a perfect, sinless, holy and good God who loves people and therefore wants to save them, help them, and bring them into His heavenly family. As our loving Heavenly Father, He desires to bless us and give us good things as we walk in obedience to His will and proclaim His good news.

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

Core Value:

Every believer must actively seek a living relationship with God through prayer, the Word, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the communion of the believers.
(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

About Jesus Christ:

We believe that Jesus is building His church throughout the whole earth and that the local church is a part of the Body of Christ worldwide and also a unique expression of His grace. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin as fully man, yet fully God as well. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King. He is today, sitting at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.

"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). I believe that salvation can not be found in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be
  saved." (Acts 4:12).

Core Value:

As followers of Christ, we must declare this salvation to all of mankind so that Jesus may receive His reward.
(Matthew 1:22, 23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)

About the Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit's gifts and enablements are available to all believers and that we are living in a generation where real power and anointing is essential. The Holy Spirit provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. We also believe that the church is edified and grows by what every joint supplies through the enabling of the Holy Spirit.

Core Value:

Every believer living a Spirit-filled life, displaying the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit and empowered for God's work.
(Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Galatians 5:25; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18)

About the Bible:

We believe the Bible is the perfect and infallible Word of God and that we are to work diligently to build every part of our lives, families, businesses, and church ministries on the revelation of the Scriptures. The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

Core Value:

Every believer living by the principles of the Word of God, applied to their daily walk of faith.
(2 Timothy 3:16, 1:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

About Praise and Worship:

We believe in worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in truth, with all of our hearts and with all of the means revealed in the Bible, showing our love with expressive demonstration of thanksgiving, joy, and praise.

Core Value:

Every believer having a lifestyle of worship. Every believer becoming purposeful stewards, engaged in the planned and responsible use of their time, talents, and skills to further the work of the Kingdom of God.

About Human Beings:

We believe that people of every race, age, and background are made in God's image and are meant to be loved, shepherded, and presented with God's good news. People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.

We believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
The things which are  impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 18:27). We believe that we should be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God.” And when we do the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians  4:6-7).

Core Value:

Every believer embracing and living life to the fullest. Every believer actively involved in the life of the church. Every believer growing in all aspects of human life; spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, and mental.

Every believer is connected relationally in authentic, unified fellowship and community with other members of the church. Loving one another first, as commanded by the Lord, thereby bringing forth repentance in the lives and hearts of others
(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 2:4; 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)

About Salvation:

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sin. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment  one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Justification, regeneration, and new birth are available by faith in Jesus Christ. A sanctified life is subsequent to new birth, through faith in the Lord; through the Word and by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Core Value:

Every believer is mission minded and active in giving, praying, and going to the peoples of the world locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6, 1:2; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1, 10:9-10)

About Eternity:

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence. We believe in the bodily resurrection eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
(John 3:16, 14:17; Romans 6:23, 8:17-18; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9)

OUR CORE VALUES

Our values differ very much from most mainline churches, as we endeavour to follow the pattern of New Testament church as defined in the Bible. We do not control everything with rules, prescribed patterns or behaviour, rulership, programs, etc. We believe in the diversity of believers flowing together in unity through love, not trying to conform everyone to think an act the same way. We respect each individuals right to live out their conviction before the Lord. Submission is by persuasion and each person having the right to test what is heard and embrace that which they are convicted of.

We also make room for people to express their faith and love for the Lord in their own way, not prescribing forms of worship. The Church is the place where God's people must be allowed the freedom to grow in the Lord. The Church is overseen by an eldership team, not controlled or ruled by them. Their primary function is to lead by example and to care for and feed God's flock. We have put in place servant leader who are not into titles and honour, but are there to serve in equipping with their individual gifting. Even our Apostolic model is one of servant leaders whom God gives to the Body of Christ to equip the saints. We encourage participation of all believers so that the church will grow as each joint supplies. Each believer has the responsibility to steward their own life and therefore the leaders are free from the burden of carrying the church.

Our aim is to build a church where Jesus is truly the head and we build into Him, teaching people to have a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondly we aim to build a strong relational church that is a family of believers who are knitted together by love for one another and not by structures and/or a single gifted leader. We want the church to be an expression of the very nature and character of Jesus to the world, living the Word of God practically by faith working through grace.
